I asked my endo about this and he said that the problem with the suppositories is that you are not sure how much is absorbed. You also don’t know how long it takes to be absorbed. Therefore, he felt that when in need just use the shot. Better to be safe than sorry.

P.S. I have never had to use the shot (hopefully I won’t) but I do have a few of them.

I have two boys with SVCAH.
