During the bad liquid cortef (Upjohn) days, my son’s OHP levels were up around 35,000 - 38,000.  He was mean and angry as well as sad and emotional.  He was 4 years old but his bone age was 9 +/-.   He would drop to the ground and writhe back and forth saying that something was stabbing him from the inside out.  He was also going into puberty (and I won’t go into detail again about that - too painful).

We had Dr. Pang and Dr. Levine look at his levels and they said that he was about 2 days away from .  We put him on the pill immediately and stomped on his ohp levels so that we could get his levels down as quickly as possible.

What does your endo say?  There is something to be said for feeling well as opposed to feeling lousy, but you must also be safe!!  But please be careful with your levels because this is not a game and there are no do-overs once it’s too late.

Why don’t you see if there is a number that you and your endo can both agree on the can keep you safe AND help you to feel well.
