Does anyone take Decadron?  Our endo. just switched my 13 yr. old son from prednisone to decadron.  Not sure of the side effects and was wondering if anyone else has taken it?  We really have had a hard time in the last 3-4 years in getting his medicine regulated.  He has been on cortef, then switched to prednisone and now decadron.  His numbers are elevated, cant remember which one, I think they said he was not be suppressed enough.(not sure)  He is a little cushy in the breast area.  I imagine alot of this has to do with the fact that he is 13 and on the edge of puberty.  I have always been told that puberty would be the hardest time to control. ( for various reasons).  I have another son that is 9 and his numbers have always been perfect.  He is on cortef.  They are both salt wasters CAH.  Any info. that anyone has to share with me would be appreciated.
