Male pattern baldness occurs for men and women with CAH if they are undertreated.  Generally its the hormones  5-alpha-dihydrotestosterone  which is raised when testosterone levels are raised.  That hormone is the one that causes the hair loss.  Also it causes hirsutism in women.  Generally you will have estrogen dominance if you have this problem, as the hormone is raised down the dhea metabolic pathways and not the progesterone one.  So estrogen is made from testosterone before progesterone is made from what I can understand.
