Personally Im with Lynne on this one.  It is a big deal when the wrong hormones are raised and especially estrogen.  Your talking about estrogen being raised down the dhea pathway and not being made "after" progesterone.  So estrogen would be high and go unnopsosed by progesterone to my mind.  Its not fun, and can cause depression and a lot of problems.  I mean I don’t have CAH and I have estrogen dominance or had such just on what are considered "normal" womans hormones.  Goodness knows what raising them a tad more would do as in when you have mild CAH.  You would certainly be more prone to heart attack and breast cancer as well as uterine cancer.  It just isnt worth it.  If you feel the results are wrong, don’t wait for another blood test either.  I’d tell your concerns to the Doctor and insist on another blood test to re check.  Find a level that your happy at and stick with it.  I suspect that adults levels should be slightly higher than childrens anyway if you ask me but they seem to have the same ranges of 50nmol/L which seems ludicrous when you consider that an adult womans test levels would definately be higher than a childs.  Perhaps really 300ng/dl is about right for an adult for all we know.  I would speak to your Doctor about how your feeling and that you feel "normal" and maybe you can get her to run your levels at 300 for a while just as a temp measure to see how you fair.  Worth a shot Michelle.
