my son’s last 2 renins were low. we decreased both his florinef dose and his added saline. i have never noticed blue around his lips or eyes. i doubt if heart rate would be affected by a low renin. my son’s renin was actually nondetectable at one point and his blood pressure was only very slightly elevated. is your son breathing ok when you notice this blue around his lips??
