I am a 18  year old female. I had a adrenalectomy when I was 7 y/o. I am on 5mg of prednisone, and .1 mg of Florineff. Every now and then they test my 17ohp levels and they are in teh 1600’s. I was told that normal levels were around 90. The doctors are ordering a Cat Scan to see if any parts of my adrenal glands were left behind or something of that nature. I am clueless as to why they are this high. I have gained a significant amount of weight over the past 4 yrs. and I was ignored about my problems. Could this be why? Does any one know why I am having this Problem? Please Help!
