We use the injection for high fevers over 103 F(my daughter just can’t battle high fevers on a stress dose alone), vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and we would use it for a broken bone. This has kept us out of the hospital on many occasions. We always call the endo and tell her what’s going on! Of course, with repeated vomiting and or diarrhea we’d be in the hospital for iv fluids.
