BetsyWhen we arrived at the ER there was a team of docs and med students in the room. He had the flu... and they were checking to see if he really had testicles!?!?!
That’s not that uncommon...tell them to go away. No one has to allow their children to be lab rats for medical students. It’s even worse with girls and it doesn’t always end when we grow up.
If we need to go to the ER we have her office call ahead and tell the ER docs what to do which takes a huge burden off of us.
That’s a good thing to do. Unfortunately for me, even though they had the name of my endo from my med bottles, they never bothered to call her. In fact, they told a friend later they were waiting for lab results to come back before they ’bothered’ her.
I was living in Tewksbury at the time but have since moved to Easton, PA.
