Hi Deet!

My daughter Loghyn was born with ambiguous genitalia.  She has SWCAH.  She’s 13 mths old now.  We’re in the process of testing & stuff for her surgery.  I’ve seen many postings regarding adults having surgery . . . we’ve just opted to do it early.  I would consult a dr about it.  Ask your endo what he/she thinks . . . or your ob/gyn.

As far as being ashamed, you have no reason to be.  We are all beautiful & unique in our own ways.  God loves variety! :o)  And what we don’t like, we can change . . . even if it’s our own attitudes about it that we change.
