hi everyone! i just wanted to get some encouragement. i have had a very tough day at the ped endo. my 4 month old swcah son, joey, is not at all growing the way i had hoped. he is NOT ON the height growth chart and OFF the weight growth chart. he is just huge and i am so discouraged. his sodium was a little low so we increased his added saline and went from .1mg of florinef to .15mg of florinef daily. however, his 17ohp, testosterone and androstenedione were all great. 17ohp was just 376 and he is already on a very low hct dose (3.25mg per day). my husband and i are not overweight or short and joey’s caloric intake of formula is average, not too high at all. my 2 little girls were never this big either, not skinny babies, though. it is a mystery??!! i know it is WAY too early to be talking about growth hormone and i will wait this out, but does anybody else’s kids have this issue?? anyone else use the growth hormone injections and are pleased with the results?? oh, by the way, he is dosed 3x per day and still not sleeping through the night consistently so i guess it is too early for circadian dosing, but i am not sure. thanks!
