Lisa - I too took Prednisone for a while and had the same problem - it was bad. My arms ached, my shoulders hurt really bad. I switched to Dex (had taken if before anyway) and I never have that problem with Dex. I was on 5.0 mgs of prednisone - I felt suicidal and homicidal too ! Youch!
