My son (6 months old) was on 10mg a day until about a month ago and now he is on 6.25mg/day.  It seems different people metabolize the medicine differently.  I think you should go more by lab results than by average dose for a particular age.  My son was becoming very "cushy", his cheeks were huge, always fire red and he stopped growing.  His 17ohp was in the 200’s so we lowered the dose and added florinef.  He presents as sv-cah but his renin was high so he is probably a borderline salt-waster.  Had labs drawn Friday so hopefully they will come back ok.  I stress so much about whether he is on the right dose.  I am hopefull that when he is a little older this part will get a little easier.

Is Kaden having symptoms of oversuppression?  How are his lab’s??

Best wishes and know that you are not alone!!!!   Lisa
