I find that very interesting in that your child is actually taking pred and has since birth.  They gave our daughter pred right when she was born to get her levels in check fast but changed it to cortef once she was stable.  I don’t want to pry but out of curiousity, have you ever asked why your daughter was on prednisone instead of cortef at this age?  I would be very interested in learning what the doctors reasoning is.  Obviously the initial doctors on the scene at our daughter’s birth felt the same but I didn’t think to ask them then since I had no clue about any of this nor have they been around since that intial stay at the NICU.  Let me know if you have any more info on that.
