Tina,

My ambulance service carries neither. But I always assumed that Olivia would have a shot kit with her (at school, daycare, or with me).  Included with her shot kit are doctors instructions (signed by ped endo), which our ambulance service requires before they can give an injection.

My standing instructions with daycare and the ambulance service are that if Olivia needs 911, then an injection is to be given and she is to be transported to the hospital. This way no one has to make a judgement call -- except for daycare doing the initial 911 if they are unable to reach me, but I’m not concerned about that.
