hi! my son is a 4 month old swcah’er. just for the info......i am a RN and have given millions of solu-medrol injections. usually to people suffering from severe allergies and i give it IM, just like the solu-cortef. however, the solu-medrol dosing is different and longer acting than the solu-cortef. i am sure in an emergency it would be effective if solu-cortef was not available. hope this helps!
