re: Pain in legs-could it have anything to do with being under-suppressed?
Apr. 28th, 2004   4:48pm

I have a 4 year old that has advanced bone age of a 7 year old.  When first diagnosed, and ajusting to the cortef, her knees and shins hurt.  We have since adjusted her cortef dose again and things are better.  I have noticed after a very active day she will complain sometimes of pains.  I will massage her legs and that seems to help with joint pain and relaxes her which in turn lowers any kind of stress levels.  She takes cortef 3x a day, which is a total of 12.5 mg. I hope you find something that works for you guys. Good Luck!
