I do hope more people will respond to this thread, as I have been trying to work out what a crisis really is. With my teenage son, he feels very much like you describe Sheila and this last time whilst in hospital, he had a similar episode. He also says his legs go numb - he cant feel them. He also got so weak that he couldn’t lift his arms or legs. They told me it was a migraine headache - yet 20 mins after IV 100 mgs hydro, he was sitting up, and felt much better. He was also extremely pale and even paler around his mouth. He had a similar episode last week, where he actually got sick, this time it took longer to respond to the IM 100 mgs of hydro, I am not sure if this would be termed as a crisis?
