I’ve already done the CVS test and had no complications, in fact it FELT much less invasive and painful than the amnio that I did with my first child.  Currently we are just waiting for the results to see if the new baby is affected or not.  We’ve already had results back from the standard chromosomal testing (Downs Syndrome etc. . .) and all came back clean!  Good luck!
