Tracy,

Like Michelle I take my 3am dose with milk, but I only take a few sips of milk - probably not enough! I definitely don’t feel like ’tucking into’ (is that a colloquialism?) anything chewy at that time of day.

Yesterday I received my final report of the bone densitometry DEXA taken a few weeks ago and  sadly I do have established osteoporosis of the vertebrae. Now I’m swatting up on what my treatment options are, before going to my GP next week - meanwhile I’m taking my calcium supplementation more religiously.

One positive thing that has come from it is, that I suggested to my husband -lol- that it wasn’t wise for me help him on Saturday digging all these holes for our new deck, (with the help of the auger), as I might fracture some spinal bones!!! He readily agreed and has recruited some male help -yipee! I’ll just keep them supplied with drinks and food and watch them sweating away!
