We had the same problem last spring when my daughters’ were about 6months old. One of them had definite BO. I spoke with our endo and he said that she was probably undersupressed and her sweat glands developed prematurely. We upped her Cortef (after labs) however, we just used deoderant on her. We used the teen kind with no perfumes that was mild for the skin, but just used it daily as you or I would.  In the fall, I didn’t notice the smell much anymore so we haven’t used the deoderant for several months now. I am not sure if the added Cortef helped that or what. She is under good control now though. I am just watching (and smelling) for it to return now that it is hot weather here.

I totally panicked when this started but I found out it is fairly normal and really not a big deal. Just kind of a spur that maybe his meds aren’t in good control. Feel free to email if you want.
