I am seeing a doctor at Emory by the name of , Dr. Sarah Berga. She was recommended by Kelly Leight of the CARES Foundation (part of this site). I have been seeing her since Feb. of this year after desperately looking for someone qualified. She has an extensive background and specializes in CAH. She is very presonable and stays on top of the monitoring of my condition, I’m so thankful I found her. I believe she did pediatric endocrinology while in Philadelphia... don’t quote me on that. However, I am 32 yrs old, CAH-SW and 7 months pregnant. I can tell you, if she does not deal in pediatric work, I know she would put you in touch with the right person in this area. I will tell you that while I was searching for a doctor who was qualified, my former ped. endo. of 17 yrs, in another state,  suggested that a medical university in the area, was always a good place to search out specialized doctors. He was right.... and he is also very well known in the small field of adrenal disorders and he knew of no one here... By the way Dr. Berga is fairly new to Atlanta, too.
