We have chosen to use Medic Alert for the last 12 years.  The small fee you pay annually for the service is well worth it for us for the peace of mind we have knowing that if anything happened to our daughter, the medical personnel would have all the info they need at their disposal.  This includes what her illness is,  medications she takes (for the CAH and other conditions) and dosages, doctors names and phone numbers, home and cell phone numbers for me and my husband, etc.  We can update at any time on line or by phone, as many times as necessary, for no additional charge.  I feel much better having this with her at all times, as opposed to just wearing a bracelet that names her condition and does not offer the ability to obtain all the other vital information in an instant.  I know some have chosen to go with the generic type bracelet, but we have found that this affords us the most comfort and security.
