My daughter didn’t really begin to gain the weight until she was put on the cortef, even though the endo says the steroid is "replacing what she is missing and therefore not responsible for weight gain" (I don’t buy it). Interestingly enough, we have just started Lupron injections to suppress her puberty (she is only 8) and it seems to be slowing EVERYTHING down, the weight gain included, and in a very short time span.

As for me, obviously I am a carrier (unknowing though I was), and I have weight issues and fibromyalgia and depression....don’t know if there is any correlation there or not.

It will be interesting to see other responses!
