Judy WMy son is 9 and has SWCAH. He is a really big sweater mostly because he never stops moving. He’s very active, always playing and exercising. But there has never been an oder except from his head. He sweats profusely from his head and has since the day he was born. Sometimes there is a smell and sometimes there is not. I have mentioned is a few times through the years to our Endo and the answer has always been the same..... it’s a common complaint from parents of these children and they just don’t know why the sweat from the head so much. I’m referring to situations when there is no activity or he is just getting up in the morning, it’s not the slightest big hot (cool if anything), he’s not sweating any place else except his head. Sometimes he looks like he just washed his hair it’s so bad. He never smells from other parts of his body. The endo actually asks me every visit if there is any oder occurring. According to her that is a very important sign that puberty could be starting.
