Cody is 7yrs SWCAH is having alot of trouble right now!!! We have had 85 degree weather for 2 wks. I thought maybe he needed to rejust to the weather.  I have had to pick him up from school 3x a week for the last 2 wks from over heating.  I try to make him rest & sit in the shade but all the kids are playing and he wants so hard to be right with them. At night he is in pain. Everything hurts. Stomach, legs, head etc. I give him plenty of water & gatorade. Last night we went to the ER. I gave him the stress dose but it didn’t seem to phase him. Normally he perks right up. They took some blood to check his sodium, sugar levels etc. He was fine. Didn’t go to school today. What do I do??????? If I make him stay inside he is sad and miserable. I try to limit his playing time. I’m constantly watching him. I really try my best to make him as normal as possible!!! How does everyone handle this???? Someone suggested giving him salt pills. He takes 1 florinef in am & cortef 3x a day. Does anyone give the salt pills?
