While I know all children are different and CAH is a condition that must be monitored closely,  I would hesitate to make statements such as "I KNOW these children cannot tolerate summer heat."  I am now 25 and have SW CAH.  I have worked long hours in the hot sun on our family farm every summer since I was very young and I have never had a problem with the heat.  In school I played soccer, tennis, and rugby.  Although I have always drank a lot of water, I have never taken salt tablets or changed doses due to the seasons.  Again I realize that every child is different and that I may have been lucky, but I would hate for parents of newborns to gain much of their advice from a message board and possilbe have way more fears about this condition than are necessary.
