I’m sorry, I don’t have any insight but your post has raised several questions for me.  How do you know your son is a DNA carrier?  Did you have his DNA tested or just from an ACTH stimulation test?  I did not realize that carriers would be symptomatic or that they would be treated with cortef.  How long has your son been being treated?
