Thank you for your post Katie. It is SO good to hear from the children and adults that do experience CAH. I apologize if I threw out the wrong idea assuming ALL CAH salt wasters have a difficult time in heat. I am a big advocate on pushing the idea that every child with CAH can be different. What works for one child may not work for another and so forth. Therfore I try to post what type of CAH my child has when I add my opinion or ideas. Also one parent may give their input but have a non salt waster or have a different type of CAH like late onset and so on. For the past 7 years it was always my understanding from the consenses that I have collected that the CAH salt wasters do struggle in the heat. That is from other message boards too, and other CAH adults and children, and from my daughter’s endo. So I am happy to finally know someone out there that has not run into a problem with the heat. It always does my heart good to hear good stories of how CAH children grow up so healthy. Thank you.
