I seem to remember that you had a hard time finding a doctor who wanted to give your son Cortef, to begin with. Given that there can be a number of negative side effects associated with glucocorticoid excess, I would have to agree wtih those those earlier opinions. In the case of someone who doesn’t even have CAH, I would think that the risks of treatment would outweight the benefits, if there are even any benefits at all.
