We’re moving and we saw a different doctor in the new city.  He just got back to me after looking at my son’s xrays after I posted here.   He says my son’s bone age advanced 3 years in 16 months.  With premature adrenarche, you usually don’t get bone age advancement.  And my nephew who isn’t a carrier but has premature adrenarche, doesn’t have bone age advancement.

My son’s been taking a tiny dose of cortef - 5 mg a day.  Now I think he should continue, because this bone age advancement is very alarming.  He’s also taking Arimidex to try to slow down the bone-age advancement but I’m not sure it’s working.  His bone age still advanced 1 year in the 6 months he was taking it.
