Liz,

I think the best thing for you to do would be to contact the dr who did your previous surgery and get all of your records.  Then, you need to find a new urologist, take the records in with you and discuss all of it with him/her, including cost.  Medical costs depend on where you live and what type of insurance coverage you have.  I just had an ultrasound done that cost $1500!  It would be good for you to sit down with a new dr and discuss your past, present and future and make an informed decision.  As far as cost goes, many doctors are willing to work with you if you do not have good insurance or can’t pay upfront.
