MeganYes, yes to first and last. No to arthritis - fingers crossed!
De Quervains tenosynovitis of left thumb/hand - very painful. Told by my Hand Therapist last week that this is now a chronic condition and unless I had surgery OR left my current job then it would probably persist.
Ligamentous laxity (lax ligaments of feet/ankles, fingers - double jointed ) and plantar fasciitis causing pain for last twelve years and more recently major pain and discomfort. Was told by my Podiatrist yesterday that I had the wrong job for my foot problems - too much standing and walking. Two out of two - I am seriously considering leaving my job and finding something else - tough decision.
(Interestingly I recently found this site http://www.drrind.com/ and this Dr.outlines some of these things under Connective Tissue Quality on his metabolic scorecard in Adrenal fatigue and Low Thyroid function. I can tick just about all of the features in the Adrenal column and only a couple in the Thyroid column). Very interesting site.
Lumber spine scoliosis (only diagnosed three years ago) after radiating hip and leg pain. Cervical lordosis - loss of curve in vertebral neck bones ?? due to rapid growth during periods of undersuppression and advanced bone age in childhood!
Vertebral lumber osteoporosis - just diagnosed.
Osteopenia of hip bones.
Commenced Glucosamine and Chondroitin last week, as well as, increased my Calcium intake with more bioavailable forms.
I could go on BUT.....
