As a child, I was in the proper weight range and I can remember all those residents being so happy about that. It puzzled me as a child why that was a big concern to them. I was an active kid though with swimming, riding ponies, and ice skating in the winter. I did eventually develop a habit of over- eating out of frustration because of those exams they did plus, I lost interest in doing any out-door activities which caused weight gain.

As an adult it is very easy for me to gain weight but it is just as easy to take it off based on what I eat and how much I exercise. I lost 11 pounds last month just by doing a little exercise (20 min walk here and there) and different eating habits (meat, chicken, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and only water)  no bread, gravy, cereal, pasta, ice cream, chips, ice cream, soda. I don’t even miss that stuff.
