JANEMy daughter (SWCAH) is 9 years old but is about the size of a 6 year old, she’s tiny compared to her friends in height and especially weight. I have trouble buying her clothes because she wants the trendy clothes that come in size 7 upwards but isn’t quite big enough yet for them. We have always called her "Dolly" because of her small size.
My son (also SWCAH) is 5 and he is probably a little smaller than average for his age but not as much as my daughter. As a baby he was such a big bruiser but he thinned out once he became mobile.
Both have always had excellent control with their medications. We recently did a bone age scan and it came back that my sons was around 5 and a half years and my daughters was 6 and a half to 7 years. The endocrinologist said this is great because it means she has lots more growing years and probably won’t go into puberty early. Such a relief to hear that!
