Same here - no problem at all with flying.  We carry extra meds and the injection kit and a note from the dr explaining why we have syringes and needles!  No one has ever questioned us about it.  I would add that with any medication, please make sure you carry it in a carry-on bag and DO NOT check it with luggage.  You want to be absolutely sure that the medicine is with you.  Have a wonderful trip!
