I have thought of this option for myself but considering the steriods make your body much slower at healing and there is so many more issues for someone with CAH after any surgery.  I have chosen to take a more traditional route of weight loss, I had a c-section with the birth of one of my daughters and the healing process was alot longer.  I also know someone who went into this surgery thinking all would be well in the end and died three days later from a massive infection, she didn’t have CAH.  I’m sure her family wishes she never did it today.
