ElizabethI知 glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well especially after your CVS complications. My CVS was very uneventful - I had a little cramping right after but no blood whatsoever and really it felt less invasive than the amnio that I had done with my first one. The doctor that did it was really good too though.
I think that my doc has me tapering too quickly, I am tapering every 4 days so it feels like whenever my body gets adjusted it changes again and I知 back in the pit trying to cralw back out. I致e got massive headaches - everything hurts and my limbs feel like they weigh about 200 lbs each. . . I really just have the energy to sit on the couch and barely that. I知 sick to my stomach almost constantly. . . we値l see. Iknow it will get better but right now it just sucks!
I致e gotten my tests back already - I had my CVS done on April 15th and we got the results back about 5 days ago. It was very frustrating trying to deal with Cornell. Our local genetics counselor would call and they would say "oh we値l have the test results back on Monday. . ." then she would call on Monday and only get voicemail. That scenario happened several times - finally she got in touch with their genetic counselor and they said that we were going to have a little girl but that she would not be affected with CAH.
Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy! I hope that it痴 boring and uneventful! ;-)
