I was diagnosed with swcah 48 yrs ago, yesterday I met with my pedo endo from the university of michigan I had not seen him in 20yrs.  I was picking his brain about cah, in regards to surgery they dont advocate it until the child is older because of the scar tissue developing from the vaginoplasty and the need for further surgeries. Of course they dont do the clitorectomys anymore and question the need for clitoris recession being on steroids and the child growing up will off set the need for this surgery?   Just my 2 cents on the subject.
