hi suzanne! i cant help you out in any definitive way; however, my hunch would be that it is a coincidence. i am curious about something, though. why did they admit your son for vomiting?  my 5 month old has had 2 stomach bugs (swcah), both included diarrhea and vomiting. in fact, he has one as i write this. he has not been admitted either time. i just keep giving him pedialyte and stress dosing and we have been ok. was your son’s labs really off?? did he also have a high fever?? just wondering.... anyways, i am sorry for your frustration! hope it gets better soon!
