I agree. We always treat at home with the shot and pedialyte pops but I said if they can’t keep fluids down or have diarrhea (presumably many bouts) then they need IV fluids to stay hydrated. Fortunately, we have stayed out of the hospital in the 4 years of my daughter’s life but we know when we need to take her there. Julia
