  Dex is not for everyone.

I would NOT the Dex again.  For ME.... it was horrible.  Yes there was weight gain... massive weight gain(40 pounds).  I had many more stretch marks than usual. I had acne problems and face hair because of the dex. I had extreme hunger... mad hunger.  All of this was caused by the dex.  If that was it I would do it again.

But there was more.

For ME.... the dex created high blood pressure.  The high blood pressure put me and the baby at risk. I was put  on bed rest early,at the 3rd month. The very medicine I was taking to hopefully help my unborn child was threatening her life and mine.  I was relieved when the test results showed I could taper down and eventually stop the dex. I had already decided that HAD my girl had CAH I still would have stopped taking the dex. I would much rather have a full term baby than no baby.

It does not happen that way with everybody...... but dex IS  potentially dangerous and you must know that before taking it.
