Glad to hear that she is doing better.  My son is 9 and we’ve only given it once when he was just shy of turning 4 and it was stressful.  My husband was going to do it but I made myself do it.  I knew he could but needed to know that I would be able to if he wasn’t home.  Fortunately it has only been that one time.  He has had vomiting and diarrhea before and after but never needed the shot and only needed to go to the hospital once for hydration because he had just vomited so much.  He never became lethargic though so no need for the shot.  It is scary when our kids get sick but staying calm seems to just happen, something just kicks in and you deal with it.
