Cody is 7 yrs old swcah and has had the shot 3 times. Once when he broke his wrist which when you break a bone it is major and the shot is required, once when we tripled the dose and he didnt adhere due to strep throat and the other time he was around 2 and he couldn’t get the oral meds down. My endo told me the exact same instructions. Always try the oral triple does 1st. If he keeps them down then contact her and we go to the peditrician for follow up. Its usually a virus. But believe me if we are not sure we triple 1st call endo and go to ER.
