I hear you on this one.  My dad acts like CAH couldn’t have come from HIS side of the family.  He and his wife don’t want to learn how to give the shot and treat me like I am a nervous first time mother (which of course I was, but hey, who wasn’t after their 1st had CAH).  Anyway, any time we tell him about a near crisis he tries to find some other reason for her close call.  On the other side of things, my father in law took it upon himself to read the John Hopkins handout on CAH and learn as much as he could about it.  You might want to print it out and give it to your parents.  Maybe if they read it they will understand better.  I do feel for you, as a family gathering is the perfect place to handout the postcards and make a difference.  Good for you that you are doing all you can for others with CAH!  Julia
