Louise, for years I was asked if my daughter would outgrow CAH.  That and my mom telling me constantly that she prayed every day for a miracle that Kristin would wake up one day and it would be gone.  I do believe in miracles, but I believe the miracles are having the right drugs to treat CAH, being able to get an early diagnosis/newborn screening (which was not available in VA when Kristin was born), finding this message board and the support of one another.  No matter how much you try to explain, people just don’t get it.

Jessica, I also applaud your efforts.  Don’t give up on the family.  Hopefully they will come around - another one of those "miracles."  If you ever need to vent or ask questions or just know that others understand and are fully supportive, come here.  I know you are a great mom!
