Jessica, I see your point, they can’t know about EVERY disorder.  I only wish the younger dr had sent us to another dr instead of putting us off.  It’s all water under the bridge now and I don’t harbor any ill feelings toward him.  We just make sure when she is really ill that we see the dr who knows and seems concerned about her CAH.  I have had others in the practice tell me not to worry about stress dosing when she obviously needed it!  I just know what I need to do and do it now.   You would think that now that they all know they have a child with CAH, maybe they would brush up on it a little.  We don’t change drs because I don’t know that any other pediatrician in the area would be any better - and we do have the one dr we feel really comfortable with.
