For me - I had fertility problems. I got pregnant once in 8 years of marriage and never used any birth control. I was lucky to get my daughter.... I had her when I was 27. Part of the problem for me was I went in to have dye injected into my cervix (guess they thread some type of tube up through your cervix that they put the dye through) and the problem was they couldn’t get it through my cervix - it was much too tightly closed I guess..... so they ended up putting me under and doing a laparoscopy and injecting dye then..... my tubes were fine, they stretched my cervix...... and three months later I was pregnant. ( Oh - they did a D+ C at the same time). I didn’t dilate when I was in labor and ended up with a c-section.  This also was my one and only pregnancy..... glad I got my daughter. I’m not a saltwaster by the way.
