We hae used Medic Alert for 12 years now.  The reason we chose them is that you put something very basic on the emblem (like Adrenal insufficient, steroid dependent) and that’s all.  Each  person gets their own member number and if your daughter is wearing a Medic Alert emblem, medical personnel will simply dial the phone number on the emblem, give them her number and Medic Alert personnel will be able to give them all the information pertaining to her instantly - dr names, medications and dosages she normally takes, any other health issues, who to contact and how (like your name and phone number), etc.  You can update her information as often as you need to by phone or access it directly on line.  There is an annual fee of about $30, but in my mind it is well worth it.  They are there 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.  They have fancy bracelets and other jewelry, but we have always used the basic bracelet.  If the engraving ever gets worn (it should not), they will replace it for free.  They also have sports bands which a lot of the kids like.  There are others out there, but I highly recommend Medic Alert.
