One more thing - a lot of people are advocating "cute" bracelets.  I would just caution against something that may not be easily recognized in an emergency as a medical bracelet.  You don’t need some big emblem that advertized to the world that she has a medical condition, but it better be easily noticed by medical personnel in an emergency.
